Internship opportunity
We are looking for an internship student to support our group as soon as possible.
The neuroimmunological laboratory at the Institute of Clinical Neuroimmunology investigates the immunopathogenesis of autoimmune disorders of the CNS. Our labs are located at the Biomedical Center at the LMU Bio-Campus.
The tasks of the internship student will include cell maintenance, immunocytochemical staining, widefield microscopy and common wet lab techniques such as IgG purifications, buffer preparation and PBMC isolation.
We are looking for full time support for 8 to 12 weeks.
Full vaccination or serological proof against Measles and Chicken pox is required, as well as a vaccination against Whooping cough within the last 9 years.
You are a Bacchelor or Master student in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular medicine, Pharmacy or similar
You have basic knowledge in cell biology, immunology and neuroscience
Experience with primary immune cell culture, cell-based assays, microscopy and flow cytometry is a strong plus
You are a team player, but capable of working independently where necessary
